Xiaomi Black Shark 2 to be Officially Announced on October 23

Keeping its Black Shark Smartphone a China-exclusive after its launch back in April 2018, Xiaomi has officially announced that it will globally launch Xiaomi Black Shark 2 on October 23.

Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is seen as a rival to OnePlus 6T, as it’s powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor. Provided with a 6-inch display, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage (non-expandable), this smartphone by Xiaomi has a 4000 mAh battery that can easily last for an entire day.

In an effort to differentiate Black Shark 2 and the earlier version, Xiaomi has given a brand-new design back panel, which is similar to Razer Phone 2 by Asus. The Black Shark was provided with an aggressive looking back panel, this one comes with a more simplistic design. Most of the rear is covered in a black glass while the sides are carved out of aluminum.

Featuring a vertical camera layout, the back panel has a black shark logo in the center. The back features RGB lighting, also connected to the strips along the smartphone’s frame. These strips will light up on receiving notifications.

However, Xiaomi hasn’t given its words on the pricing of Black Shark 2.
