Samsung to Launch Galaxy Note 8 on September 12, in India

One of the leading smartphone marketers in the country, Samsung has recently confirmed the launch of its Galaxy Note 8 smartphone on September 12, in India. The smartphone manufacturer has already started sending media invitations for the launch event to take place 12:30 pm (IST) onwards in New Delhi.

This unique invitation style includes a GIF showing the outline a smartphone, confirming the launch of the most recent smartphone-cum-phablet by the company. However, it’s notable that Samsung is launching its Galaxy Note 9 on the same days as when Apple is launching its next-gen iPhone, a special edition called iPhone X.

The launch of Galaxy Note 8 in India is quite important for Samsung, as the earlier Galaxy Note 7 (the ill-fated phablet) never made it to the stores in the Indian market. Considering the long gap in the Galaxy Note series, Samsung is quite excited about the launch of its brand new phablet.

Galaxy Note 8 was successfully launched at a price of $930 in the U.S. (roughly Rs. 59,561 in India), which is expected to be available in India at a much higher price. Surprisingly, Samsung has slashed its price considerably and the actual price of Samsung Galaxy S8+ is Rs. 65,990, which originally was Rs. 74,990. Therefore, it’s quite evident that Samsung will launch Galaxy Note 8 at a price somewhere between Rs. 69,990 and Rs. 74,990.
